We’re looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead all event operations for Atomicwork. This role requires a proven track record in managing end-to-end event operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic (and often chaotic) environment.
You’ll be working from our Bangalore (HSR Layout) office and managing events happening primarily in the United States and also in other international markets such as the UK and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Management:some text
- Plan, organize, and execute high-quality events in the US and other major markets, managing 15-20 annual events end-to-end, including third-party conferences and our own smaller meetups.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:some text
- You’ll get the budget to work with external event organizers, but you’ll be required to coordinate and collaborate with multiple vendors simultaneously to ensure smooth execution of all event deliverables.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, juggling competing priorities and maintaining clear communication across the board.
- Operational Excellence:some text
- Drive operational efficiency by managing multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of event planning and execution.
- Resourcefulness and Communication:some text
- Leverage creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver successful events.
- Communicate effectively across teams and time zones to align on goals and expectations.
- Technical and Design Know-how:some text
- Utilize basic technical and design skills to support event needs, from creating/modifying presentations/creatives to choosing/customizing swag/giveaways to coordinating with technical support and troubleshooting teams.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in field marketing, with a focus on running events in the US.
- Track Record: Hands-on experience managing end-to-end operations for at least 6 events annually during your tenure.
- Multitasking Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors, stakeholders, and projects without compromising on quality.
- Attention to Detail: Almost obsessive commitment to precision and operational excellence.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with event tools, basic design skills, and other reasonably technical platforms.
- Resourceful Attitude: Can-do attitude to quickly take judgement calls or tweak a design template on Canva when required.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Comfortable working across global time zones to meet event requirements.
Nice-to-Have:
- International Exposure: Experience managing events in the UK, Australia, or other international markets in addition to the US.
